Crowd Control

November 7 – 21
Crowd Control, a powerful new solo exhibition by James Gilbert that confronts the psychology of crowds and the turbulence of contemporary political behavior. Through vividly layered drawings and dynamic sculptures, Gilbert captures the tension between individuality and group identity in a time of social unrest and mass influence. His expressive figures and charged color palette transform empathy, fear, and persuasion into visceral visual form. Crowd Control invites viewers to reflect on the forces that shape collective action—and to consider their own place within it.
